With 2.1 officially in the AppStore, some users have reported issues with the app crashing constantly after open a particular file. I haven't yet been able to obtain a sample of one of these files to determine the root cause of the problem, but this version includes a work around to allow the app to be usable after hitting one of these files.
If anyone could manage to extract one of these perma-crashing files, it would be extremely useful to have a sample. My current best working theory is that the files were create with a preliminary version of the Plucker Table of Contents format which was available in ShelfServer for a brief period, but I have no confirmation of that yet.
This build may end up going to Apple some time this week. I'm not completely sure the download manager is ready for prime time, though. Any feedback on that would be appreciated.
