This is feature complete for 2.1. Documentation is out of date, but other than that, I think this is it.
Big new feature in this release is that ShelfServer will create Tables of Contents based on the H[1..6] tags. This requires the latest beta of ShelfServer of course.
PIN security has been cleaned up a bit as well as lots of cleanups and performance improvements in the search systems.
Any reports of instability, unexpected behavior, etc. would be much appreciated.
One potentially confusing new feature is a changed toolbar in the book reading screen. I ran out of room and had to split the bar into two parts. The '...' icon on the right side toggles between them. I'm most interested in any feedback as to how the icons are split up in terms of convenience and usability.
On the second page of the toolbar is a 'scissors' icon when enables copy/paste mode for 3.0 devices. Unfortunately the tap-to-scroll mechanism that Tomes uses conflicts with Apple's copy/past mechanism, and so the mode toggle was required. When copy/paste is enabled, tapping will no longer scroll (though dragging still will), and the toolbars cannot be dismissed.

New in this release
- Table of contents is extracted for Plucker and Mobi files (look in the 'bookmarks' screen)
- Copy & Paste enabled on OS 3.0. App must be put into copy/paste mode on the secondary toolbar (hit the '...', then the scissors)
- Improvements to search interface, accuracy, and performance
- Honors OS 3.0 parental controls -- can't download from web-based shelves when Safari is disabled in Restrictions. Also, PIN prompt is required for downloading any books when enabled.
- Add unlock/lock icon to file list toolbar
- PIN is required (if one is set) to reset settings -- since resetting resets the PIN
- Various performance, stability, and accuracy improvements in Palm decoding
- Title & author are extracted from Palm files where available
- Fix some various display bugs on file list for thumbnails & multi-select
Known Issues
- REQUIRES latest ShelfServer beta for Table of Contents in Plucker files.
- Documentation needs updating before release
- Copy/paste mode needs a better indicator and/or automatically leave copy/paste mode when toolbar is changed.
- Copy/paste mode isn't hidden (and does nothing) on 2.x devices.
