Beta/ReleaseNotes/2.0.1945
From Tomes Support Wiki
This build is almost feature completed for the 2.1 release. I still need to do some work to extract metadata and chapters from the book formats that support it. The backend support for displaying them is there once I get the data out of the files. I still need to hook this up to Instruments and squash any performance bugs, but it's on pretty good track for a release to Apple in the third week of July.

- Several new color themes with textured backgrounds
- 390 Option to mask or hide certain documents or folders using a privacy passcode.
- 391 When tap scrolling is set to jump instead of animated, scroll indicators won't flash after each scroll.
Known Issues
- Need to display read/unread status in file list when multi-select mode is active.

- Book search includes the base64 encoded data of images.
- Startup image is broken if app was quit in landscape mode
Missing features planned for 2.1
- Extract metadata from formats that support it.
- Extract chapter info from formats that support it.
- Add custom color theme export, possible with a community feature on the website to share them.
Focus for Testing
- I'm completely open to suggestions for new background textures for themes. If you have an idea and can point me at a sample image, drop a note in the Beta forums. Extra credit for a direct link to stock art from dreamstime.com
- Feedback on the dictionary, search, privacy, and color theme features is desperately wanted! They're all Big New Things. Hopefully they're intuitive to use, but any suggestions are (as always) welcome.
